About Bethany

While growing up in rural Pennsylvania, Bethany's days were dominated by drawing. Whether doodling horses, or copying the drawings from her many Disney coloring books, it was easy for her parents to see what her favorite after homeschool activity was. Because of this early passion, Bethany's parents decided to foster her desire to draw by making art a priority in her education. As Bethany progressed through school, so did her art ability. She progressed from copying coloring books to creating realistic pencil renderings and designing her own characters with tales of their own. 

When it was finally time to pursue college, the only choice for Bethany was to follow her dream of studying art. After researching many colleges, she decided to enroll in the Animation program at the Academy of Art University. While there, she studied traditional 2D animation, visual development, illustration, digital painting, art history,

and business. Bethany has completed her studies with the Academy of Art, and graduated in the fall of 2014 with a BFA in Traditional Animation and Visual Development. Since then, Bethany collaborated with Olivia Moy (sister and fellow artist) to launch The Little Sisters Studio. Together, they create illustrations, 2D animations, storyboards, and concept designs for film.
